The Skies over Ayacucho
I had stayed for about 1 month at Ayacucho, Peru during my last Latin America trip. That was because I was learning Spanish language there and I liked this city. I think that was the longest time to stay in one city during my trip for 235 days in Latin America. Ayacucho is located on the high mountain of the Andes in Peru. Elevation is 2,761 m. That's what Ayacucho is far higher than Mt. Baekdu where is the highest mountain in Korea. I don't know that's the reason. When the sun went down beyond the mountains, sky looked like unrealistic. The sky was colored with pastel colors. It was so impressive, so I stopped walking on the street and just stood there drinking in that sky.
- by 글솜씨 없는
